I am a huge (HUGE) fan of Billy Jealousy’s Liquid Sand facial cleanser and, consequently, I had high expectations for their Sucker Punch face scrub.

I was excited to find Tea Tree Oil among the listed ingredients. Though past my 20′s I still suffered the occasional indignity of random breakouts, which typically appear three days before a work presentation. And, working in concert with the Black Fiji Sand granules (how luxe does that sound?), I’ve found this product to be instrumental in controlling these outbreaks and in generally keeping my mug neat and tidy. We’re fast approaching a new year and I intend to stay sucka-free for 2010 with Billy Jealousy’s generous assistance.

A note about the experience itself: this product contains peppermint oil, so when you apply it, not only do you get the exfoliating texture but this rather bracing chill, not unlike the icy dip following a Russian banya treatment. I’ve mentioned in prior posts how I love this quality in other grooming products, and Sucker Punch is no exception. That minty bite is a call to arms, a challenge to the as yet unformed day to do it’s worst. It’s the closest thing to war paint available to an office-dwelling urbanite, in my opinion.

I am hereby proclaiming Billy Jealousy Sucker Punch AND Liquid Sand to be My Beauty Bunny cruelty free favorites! I use the Liquid Sand daily and the Sucker Punch a couple times a week. The exfoliation also help fight razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I will definitely buy these products again.
