I’m at the beach for a family vacation this week, and I decided to try a waterproof mascara. I chose Almay Triple Effect Waterproof mascara because Almay is a cruelty-free company – no animal testing! I have to say, I really like this mascara! It’s got a double-sided wand – one side has a longer comb which really helps with clumps.

The mascara stays on well – although after an hour of body surfing and rubbing salt water out of my eyes, it did give me a little raccoon eye. But, I think sitting out by the pool would be just fine. It’s also really humid here in Gulf Shores, AL, and waterproof mascara is a must in the summer – even when you’re just walking to your car!
