Aveda Daily Hair Repair
Aveda is one of my all-time favorite cruelty-free beauty brands, and they have not let me down with any product I’ve tried yet. I recently tried their new Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair, and their A+ track record stands unblemished.
Daily Hair Repair is a leave-in conditioner with (sustainably sourced) quinoa protein, alfalfa extract, linseed extract, and of course the best-smelling essential oil blend on the planet – with ylang ylang, bergamot and mandarin extracts.
Aveda Daily Hair Repair goes on without any greasiness in the slightest. I have fine hair and thick conditioners can easily weigh it down. To use, you just add a quarter-sized amount to towel-dried hair. Then, don’t rinse it out – just style as usual. It repairs damage (by 26% according to Aveda’s study), protects from heat styling and detangles.
After blow drying with a brush, I get a really nice shine from this cream. And, you can use it every day without build-up or that weird frizziness that I get when I use crap like Pantene (Pantene is also a major animal tester by the way).
