Our first Beauty Rebellion Project cruelty-free beauty party was amazing. So many great people showed up and we had a blast! We had good tunes, vegetarian and vegan food, homemade sangria and lots of other “adult beverages.” It was called the Beauty N Booze Party after all…

We had cruelty-free goodie bags for the guests and giveaways all night. Everyone got free Beautisol self-tanner samples, courtesy of Sinead, from SelfTanningQueen.com. Guests also got coupons for free spray tans from Nathalie, courtesy of Spray Tan LA (new clients can get a free spray tan too – check out their coupon).

The Marie Louise Cosmetics travel kits were a huge hit. Guests who signed up for the mailing list received a kit with Cleansing  Clear Gel, Washing Foam, Moisturizing Toner, Creme Facial Moisturizer and Restoration Clear Gel. The Restoration Clear Gel is insane. Amazing stuff.

Guests also got free cruelty-free products from: Aveda, Softlips, Jeune d’Age, Tarte, Hard Candy, Sibu Beauty, DermaE, Beauty Sprinkles, Skin 1 by Dr. Gram, Kushyfoot, Elizabeth Grant and more.

The next Beauty Rebellion Project event will be a benefit for Best Friends Animal Society. It will be held in an outdoor venue – next to American Vintage on Hillhurst (in Los Feliz). We’ll have bands, a DJ, pet adoptions, vegetarian BBQ, drinks, etc. More info to come.
