Let’s be frank guys and dolls! There’s plenty of cruelty-free beauty products that have arose from the dark days of animal testing. Of course many corporations refuse to leave their inhumane practices claiming that in order to make an omelet you need to break a couple eggs. I say use tofu eggs! Aha! Gotcha!

Moving on from food let’s talk makeup! I use way too many products to name but one of my favorites is of course Burt’s Bees. They are not only cruelty free but use natural ingredients like sunflower seed oil which has an excellent source of zinc and has high levels of vitamin E and Thiamine. I often use their Replenishing Lip Balm with pomegranate oil that can be found in almost any drugstore. The lip balm has a light fruity scent and leaves a slight red/pinkish tone on your lips (very inviting for kissing). The verdict – I say buy it.

While on the subject of kissing don’t forget about your pearly whites! Burt’s bees has a new toothpaste! Of course I ordered a sample and was pleasantly surprised. It’s super white, which when I held up, brought my teeth to shame! It does not contain any “artificial colors, flavors, preservatives or sweeteners.” Be sure to join to their newsletter- you get some cool facts, coupons, and samples (that’s how I got the toothpaste).
