iHerb.com $50 Shopping Spree Giveaway!

A few weeks ago Lea shared her love of the natural beauty products she’s been using courtesy of the online retailer iHerb.com. So, today I thought I’d mention some of my favorites and give you the chance to win an iHerb.com shopping spree of your own.

Nature’s Gate Henna Shine Enhancing Conditioner: I have had some bad experiences with “natural” cruelty-free hair care products, but Nature’s Gate has completely changed my mind. This is quite possibly the best conditioner I’ve ever used. Seriously. It gives my hair shine and makes it soft without weighing it down or making it frizzy. A lot of conditioners have TOO much moisture, which makes my fine hair frizz up. Ingredients include: soy protein, panthenol, rosemary, nettle, horsetail, hops, wild cherry, chamomile and the best ingredient of all – henna! The henna is colorless, so it gives shiny highlights (but no color deposit) to any hair color. Normally it retails for $6.29 but iHerb.com sells it for $3.85! Who would have thought my favorite conditioner would be $3.85? I have spent upwards of $40 on crappy conditioners in the past! Nature’s Gate and iHerb.com – you are amazing. I love you.

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Maximum Dry Skin Body Lotion: I got a GIANT (32 oz) bottle of Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion on iHerb.com for $12.27! The normal retail price is $20.45! This cruelty free body lotion is amazing because it is not only super moisturizing, but has lactic acid, glycolic acid and other alpha hydroxy acids to gently exfoliate your skin while you moisturize. And, it’s so gentle that you can use it after shaving (definitely safe for sensitive skin). It’s also pH balanced, 100% vegetarian and cruelty free, and paraben free. This giant bottle may last for the rest of my life!

Beauty Without Cruelty Ultrafine Translucent Pressed Powder: Beauty Without Cruelty is the original cruelty-free beauty brand. Started in England in 1963 by animal welfare activist, cosmetician and vegetarian, Kathleen Long, the company has grown to include vegan and cruelty-free skin, body and hair care products. Beauty Without Cruelty’s Ultrafine Translucent Pressed Powder blends well and works on any skin tone. The powder works well with a large kabuki or powder brush. Simply swirl a brush into the powder, tap the handle on a countertop a few times (to push the excess powder into the brush) and then lightly dust your face.  My only complaint is that the powder doesn’t come with a powder puff to apply on the go. But, still a great product. It reduces shine, evens out skin tone and doesn’t look heavy on your face. You can get it at iHerb.com for $11.51 (retail price is $14.95)!
