Cruelty-free French/American brand, Votre Vu, has a unique product – a hand cream and lip balm in one tube! Duette Luxe Lip Balm & Hand Creme is the perfect product to keep on your desk at work or to take on a trip. The main attraction is a super-thick, but not greasy hand cream that rivals Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve (which I also happen to have on my desk). The moisturizing hand cream contains jojoba, grapeseed and sunflower oils, along with aloe, wheat proteins and UVA/UVB filters to keep your hands looking young. My only complaint is the strong vanilla-almond scent. Most women will love it, but I’m more of an earthy scent kind of gal. Hopefully, Votre Vu will come out with some new scents to add to their line.
The lip balm is concealed in the cap and is more on the oily (rather than matte) side, but not at all sticky (I cannot tolerate sticky lips!). Coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax make this a fairly heavy-duty lip balm. The lip balm also has UV filters to keep the sun from messing with your kisser. Votre Vu is a prestige, luxe brand, and not on the super cheap side, but I think the pretty packaging makes this product great for gift-giving.
