So, you all know about my obsession with sea buckthorn juice and supplements. Well, I was very excited to try Weleda’s Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion, courtesy of Nature’s Basin. My first thought when I saw the cobalt blue bottle was, “Well, that’s really pretty, but will the lotion come out?” The answer is yes – Weleda calls this a lotion and it’s actually a lotion, not a cream. But, don’t let that fool you into thinking it doesn’t work on dry skin. It’s got a relatively thin consistency, but has a high enough oil content to really moisturize. The lotion has a nice light, citrus-y scent (from essential oils). Sea buckthorn is a natural anti-inflammatory to calm irritated skin, and it has antioxidants A, C and beta carotene to protect your skin from the elements.
