Something you guys may not know about me – I have latent gothic tendencies. I love morbid, creepy things and I LOVE Halloween! Any excuse to buy something creepy for Halloween and keep it up year round is okay by me. If you want to find creepy things year round, check out Scary Jane’s blog.
When cruelty free beauty brands, LUSH and The Body Shop sent me these Halloween bath products, I was more than a little excited.

LUSH Lady Catrina soap smells like sweet tarts! Or lemon drops. Something sweet and wonderful. The best part is that it’s made with agave nectar (a vegan alternative to honey).
LUSH Ghost Shower Gel is shimmery and white. It lathers up like nobody’s business and it smells like lilies. The packaging says I shouldn’t get in the shower alone. I’m pretty sure my boyfriend would help me out with that. This one is vegan as well.
The Body Shop Spiced Pumpkin Bath & Shower Gel has a warm, inviting scent. It smells a bit more like apples than pumpkin to me, but I like it. The scent was actually created by a Body Shop customer named Stephie from California. Good job Stephie! The gel lathers well and it’s soap-free (rinses well). This one’s not vegan, but made with fair trade honey from Ethiopia.
The vegan Calavera Bath Bomb is named after the skulls in the Day of the Dead celebrations (one of which I will be attending this weekend!). The fizzy bath bomb has marigold petals and lime oil for a festive scent. I have a feeling I will be needing one of these AFTER my Day of the Dead party!
Have a great Halloween!
