Stuff I Like to Spray on My Face

I love spritzing my face with essential oils during the day – it’s so refreshing. My latest finds are the Colloidal Silver Facial Mist by Hylunia and the Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater by Mario Badescu.
Cruelty free skin care brand, Hylunia, has a really nice toner with colloidal silver (to kill germs and bacteria), lavender (to reduce inflammation and fight acne) and pumpkin seed peptide (AKA cucurbitine – to protect your skin from UV rays and inflammation). The Colloidal Silver Spray with Lavender Floral Water can be used as a spritzer or you can spray onto a cotton pad for a deeper clean. This is a great toner for skin that is acne prone (especially when you have the inevitable open sores) or for skin that has been waxed, lasered, burned, etc. It promotes healing without being too harsh on sensitive skin.

Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater is a light, rose-scented, moisturizing toner that is great for all skin types. It’s made with aloe, rose extract, gardenia and bladderwrack. It’s super gentle – you can spray it to set makeup, before moisturizer or even in your hair.
