Cruelty Free Toothpaste

Vitacare toothpaste

I don’t post about toothpaste that often, because I usually stick to Tom’s of Maine (they are owned by Colgate now, but the company is still cruelty free). But, now I found another brand that I really like that is also cruelty free!

Vitacare toothpaste comes in unique flavors – acai, pomegranate and key lime (all with a minty feel). They are made with Vitamins A, C, D and E, as well as calcium, cranberry (helps keep bacteria from sticking to your teeth and gums), aloe vera (soothes and heals gums), silica and xylitol (a natural sweetener). They DON’T have fluoride, parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, SLS, sulfates, artificial colors and flavors.

Vitacare dental care

Vitcare also makes a key lime mouthwash, eco-friendly (recycled) toothbrushes and whitening gum! The gum is great – my boyfriend tried to steal it from me, so I had to lay the smack down. It’s sugar-free, gluten-free and sweetened with natural xylitol.

I’ve been using the key lime toothpaste and mouthwash for a couple of weeks, and it makes my mouth feel clean and refreshed. I’ve also noticed a few ulcers that I had in my mouth healed SUPER quickly! Definitely one to check out.

Thanks! I usually use Tom's of Maine too, but those flavors sound very interesting! I think I want to try the pomegranate one. :)

I stopped using Tom's of Maine since they sold out and started putting fluoride in their products. Cruelty free to animals, perhaps but NOT to humans! Fluoride is toxic stuff (look up info on mercola.com). We never use it, and my daughter's never had a single cavity.

Thanks for the tip–lime anything sounds AWESOME!! I'm using Burt's Bees right now but will give them a try!
