When cruelty free brand, LA Fresh, offered to send me a sampling of their products for review, I wasn’t expecting much. I’ve tried makeup remover wipes before, and they always leave my face feeling sticky and unclean. Boy – was I surprised! Their oil-free facial cleansing wipes come in either a light, fresh scent or unscented and they actually leave your face feeling clean and NOT sticky! There have been so many nights when I’m ready for bed and just too lazy to take off my makeup. LA Fresh to the rescue!
The waterproof eye makeup remover wipes are great too – they are the oily kind of remover (for waterproof eyeliner and mascara) so they work really well, but I have to make sure to take my contacts out before I use them. If I follow up with the oil-free facial cleanser wipes, it’s all good.
The nail polish remover wipes were a real surprise. They are natural, acetone-free and they actually work better than any “natural” nail polish remover I’ve ever tried! You don’t have to soak your nails – polish comes right off. The ingredient list is nice and friendly:

The body wipes are SO refreshing after a workout. The peppermint scent is soothing and they are lightly moisturizing without being oily. Definitely a must-have for your gym bag. I also found that they are great to drape over your forehead and eyes when you have a headache. Aromatherapy and cooling at the same time.
LA Fresh products were designed to save water (fresh water is a resource 1 in 8 people don’t have access to), the lighter products reduce shipping (and fuel) costs, and the wipes are made of biodegradable materials. They also have: feminine hygiene wipes, shoe shine wipes, travel wipes, hand sanitizer wipes, deodorant wipes, lotion wipes, sunscreen wipes and even dog wipes!
