The Lipstick League – Biggest Splurge and Steal

Splurge-Steal
Question of the Week: Name the most expensive and inexpensive products in your current daily beauty routine.

Answer – As a cruelty-free beauty blogger I get to test the entire monetary range of products – from drugstore deals to high-end indulgences. Currently I am truly indulging with regular use of the Peptide Infused Antioxidant Serum from Radical Skincare. This anti-aging powerhouse goes for $190.00 (gulp!) but I’m already figuring out how I can purchase another bottle because my skin is looking GOOD – smooth, firm and even a little glow-y. (See the My Beauty Bunny review here).

On the opposite end of the spectrum, not a day goes by that I do wear at least one makeup product from drugstore fave Milani – you just can’t beat their formulas and color payoff for the price. In fact, I carry a few of their Color Statement Lipsticks in my purse so Milani ends up on my lips almost every day. (See a review and my favorite hues here).

I totally agree with the Milani lipsticks. Total steal! As is essence clear brow gel…mainly when you consider the alternative of buying high end for something so basic. I always spend more on foundation because I want a perfect match. It’s not that much of a splurge considering the luxury brands out there, but NARS is my favorite and closest color.
