Schmidt’s Deodorant Review & Giveaway

Schmidts Deodorant Giveaway

I have tried a lot of natural deodorants, and most are pretty useless for me. Now that I know I have MTHFR and lyme disease, I’m trying to be a lot more cautious about what I put in and on my body. Especially since deodorants contain so much aluminum and I’m rubbing it in so close to my lymph nodes who are already working overtime.

Schmidt’s Deodorant is free of aluminum, propylene glycol, parabens and phthalates. It’s vegan and cruelty free (certified by Leaping Bunny). It comes in unscented, Cedarwood Juniper, Ylang Ylang Calendula, Bergamot Lime and Lavender Sage. The last two are my favorites. I can’t say that any natural deodorants (without aluminum) keep me completely dry or odor-free, but brand is definitely one of the best I’ve tried. It has arrowroot powder and baking soda to absorb wetness and odors. The essential oils are non-irritating. I wish it came in a roll-on, but the nature of the product is a little thick (but disappears into the skin), so a stick wouldn’t really work. The best time to use this product is right after a shower or bath. You can even put it on other areas that may sweat (feet, etc).

If you want to try it out, use code MYSCHMIDTSBUNNY, which expires on June 10th.

I’m also giving away a bottle of your choice of scent (or unscented) to 4 lucky winners. Wait for the Rafflecopter to load below. You must be 18 or older to enter, but this giveaway is open to all countries! By entering, you agree to the official rules. Ends 6/10/14 at 11:59 pm PST.

The bergamot and lime sounds really great, especially for summer.
