Skyfall Bond Girl Makeup – Bérénice Marlohe

I saw Skyfall this weekend, and I loved the vampy makeup look on Bond Girl, Severine (AKA Bérénice Marlohe)! Skyfall makeup artist, Naomi Donne, tells Elle Magazine about Severine’s look:

I often shy away from doing strong makeup, because I feel it’s distracting or somehow stops you from seeing what someone is trying to convey. But in this case, it’s a part of her character. And it [creates] a huge comparison: when you see her without her makeup, she becomes incredibly vulnerable without it.

Naomi used Chantecaille gloss and black NARS eyeshadow to create the vampy lip look. If you’re going to try the dark cat eye look, she recommends blending it out to a pointy shape on the sides. Severine’s ’50s style dragon nails were painted in burgundy polish, “Skyfall,” created for the movie by OPI with gold on the back of the nails. You can read more about the makeup she used in the full article.

In a tribute to James Bond, check out Votre Vu’s cute how-to video. It includes hot dudes in suits fighting while a model in an evening gown gets her makeup done by pro makeup artist, Kristina Brown. Enjoy!
