I’m always stressed out when I travel by plane. The “hurry up and wait” syndrome, all the crowds, the lines and the “what gate am I supposed to be at” feeling make me really irritable. Gregg and I flew to see my family for Christmas last month and our flight was delayed. We were stuck in the airport for about 6 hours. And then, we didn’t hear them call for boarding, so we almost missed the flight we had been waiting for FOREVER! Add to that the fact that we hadn’t slept the night before – we stayed up until 4 am to drive to the airport. So yeah – I wasn’t in the best mood.

It seems unlikely to work, but I tried it and maybe it’s all in my head, but I really did feel happier. When I tried it, I felt an instant pick-me-up.
