Okay, yes I’ll admit it. I want Jessica Alba’s skin. Not in a creepy, Silence of the Lambs way, but in a “why do I need 10 coats of foundation to cover up my acne and splotchy skin” way. Cruelty-free anti-aging skincare brand, Vitaphenol, has a line to improve skintone and prevent signs of aging for every skin type. I tried the acne-prone skin line. All products include an impressive array of antioxidants: mangosteen, pomegranate, green tea and white tea. Here are my thoughts on each product.
Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser ($45)
- Includes additional Vitamins A, C, E, CoQ10 and bilberry.
- Soap-free
- Very gentle – I would compare it to Cetaphil in terms of consistency and cleansing power.
Anti-Aging Toner ($45)
- Love this! A spray-on toner that acts as a “daily mini peel”
- 10% glycolic acid, comfrey, CoQ10 and grapefruit extract
- Removes dead skin, improves fine lines and discoloration
Oil-Free Anti-Aging Serum ($95)
- Antioxidants and proteins help reduce inflammation and improve skintone
- Includes hyaluronic acid and cucumber to moisturize and calm skin
Daily Fortified Moisturizer ($95)
- Very lightweight!
- Contains anti-aging antioxidants, hyaluronic acid to moisturize, and caffeine (to tighten and reduce puffiness)

I've suffered from dry skin ever since I was younger, to the point where my skin flakes off and looks much older.
