The Youngblood Spring 2013 colors are SO gorgeous! They will be available March 1st at ybskin.com.

The new Gel Liner, Lagoon, is a matte teal with a slight gold sheen. Apply thin or thick – depending on the brush you use. It’s safe for sensitive eyes and contact lenses. Lecithin and Vitamin E moisturize the delicate eye area. Iron oxides provide the rich, long-lasting pigment. Use an oil-based eye makeup remover to remove easily without tugging.

The new lanolin-free lipstick, Debalicious, is the perfect shade of bubblegum pink. This is the type of color I like to wear on a regular basis. Light and sweet and goes with just about any eye makeup look. The formula is enriched with Vitamin E and sunflower oil to hydrate and soften lips.

The new Anti-Shine Mattifier is an interesting new makeup primer. It’s a mattifier, so it reduces shine, but it’s made with oils: pumpkin oil and nigella oil. Both oils moisturize, calm skin and repair damage. Tocopherol is also included for its antioxidant activity. You can apply with fingertips or with the enclosed sponge. Just apply – then use Youngblood’s rice powder to absorb any additional shine. Then, apply the foundation of your choice (I prefer their powder foundation).
